Nike Footballers Galore

OK, so these guys aren't actors, but there are a ton of soccer players in this new Nike Football/Soccer "Take it to the Next Level" commercial. This is actually one of the best Nike Football/Soccer commercials they have produced since the World Cup, and not only because you (the camera) play for the Dutch national team.

The players and actresses are listed below in order of appearance. Note that some players, like Cristiano Ronaldo, appear in the commercial twice, but are listed only once.

See a higher-quality, slightly different version here.

Manager: Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger (on sidelines at first club game)
Player: William Gallas (faux-hawk)
Player: Wayne Rooney (volley off chest)
Player: Cristiano Ronaldo (also volleys, then blows kiss to camera)
Player: Cesc Fàbregas (kisses camera after goal)
*Actress: Kat Dennings (in the car)
*Previous work: "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" and "The House Bunny"
** Actress: Not sure, but looks like Rachel Hunter (poolside)

Player: Rafael Márquez Álvarez (first player to shake hands)
Player: Ronaldinho (third player to shake hands, No. 10)
Player: Klaas Jan Huntelaar (No. 19)
Player: Nani (No. 32)
Player: Ruud van Nistelrooy (juggling at midfield, shooting)

* Not 100 percent on this one, but close

Mr. Stinky Fish Face

Damn it, Bradshaw! Poor guy, he butchers the language. Then again, so do I, so I don't hold it against him. And I wouldn't be offended at all if he called me Mr. Stinky Fish Face, mostly because you can't get mad at the truth. I think that customer was just a little high-strung. Oh well, free trip to Hong Kong!

Actor: Regi Davis
Commercial(s): AT&T Wireless
Previous work: "Arrested Development" and "Las Vegas"

Twix and the City

This actress was supposed to be the Carrie character in an episode of "My Boys" that made fun of "Sex and the City"; the episode is linked below. It was hilarious, especially the part of the Samantha character. This version of Carrie now plays Deborah in a Twix commericial, which also has become an "interactive love story" on the Twix Web site.

Actress: Abigail Spencer
Commercial(s): Twix Political Blogging
Previous work: "Bones" and "How I Met Your Mother"
Bonus materials: Watch the "Douchebag in the City" episode here and play the "interactive love story" here

That Yogurt is 'L Word' Good

She looks like a pixie, or some other kind of fairy-type being. Oh, and she loves yogurt because it is, like, "sooooo" good. Sorry, I half-assed it on the cleverness scale--it's late.

Actress: Leisha Hailey
Commercial(s): Yoplait yogurt
Previous work: "Grey's Anatomy" and "The L Word"

Scrubbing Down the Dog

That's not a euphemism. Although, I might make it one. Anyway, this guy loves his dog (again, nothing intended) and also likes performing surgery. And, really, when you think about it, those go together like lamb and tuna fish. He does a pretty convincing Eastern European accent, too, as evident on his stint on "Scrubs."

Actor: Benjamin King
Commercial(s): Beneful Playful Life
Previous work: "Scrubs" and "The Wedding Bells"

Wizards of Dog Food

This guy has been in everything. OK, lots of things. However, he's probably most known because of his last name and from whom it came, his dad Dom.

Actor: David DeLuise
Commercial(s): Purina Beneful and Chili's
Previous work: "Wizards of Waverly Place" and "3rd Rock from the Sun"

Damn Flying Whales

That's a terrible headline. Oh, well.

This guy is best known as Rex, the portly Asian intern with the killer sideburns, on "Scrubs." However, he can now be seen in a joint-venture commercial between Best Buy and "Hancock." The commercial watches Hancock throw Walter the Beached Whale back into the ocean, only to hit a sailboat. Apparently, that boat belonged to Rex and his family. Who knew? Hancock, ne Will Smith, should really watch where he is throwing whales.

Actor: Aaron Ikeda
Commercial(s): Best Buy/"Hancock"
Previous work: "Scrubs" and "The War at Home"

Antidisestablishmentarianism

Phew, that was a mouthful. Still, a baby in a DQ commercial managed to say it, forcing his dad to give up his ice cream. The dad is this guy, who apparently liked Sunshine better with the long hair, brah, and enjoys himself a little Marvin. Just watch him lead the singing below.

Actor: Earl Poitier
Commercial(s): DQ Antidisestablishmentarianism
Previous work: "Remember the Titans" and "Over There"

KFC on Mars

You know that KFC Snacker commercial where the friends are sitting on the stairs arguing over the worth of a dollar? She is the female. Imagine that.

Note: When I find a video with some quality to it, I will post it here.

Actress: Jessy Schram
Commercial(s): KFC Snacker on the stairs
Previous work: "Veronica Mars" and "House"

Venting with Weed

He apparently really needs to vent while watching the game. It's understandable, after all, since he is a drug dealer who has to pull guns on and throw knives at people all the time. Even poor little Nancy Botwin isn't immune.

(sorry for the crappy quality)

Actor: Page Kennedy
Commercial(s): Coors Light vented wide mouth can (Brad) and Twix "Do I look fat in these?"
Previous work: "Weeds" and "Desperate Housewives"

Children of the Corn on the Run

He was that creepy redhead, Malachai, in "Children of the Corn" and recently was spotted on "Monk."

Note: Normally, I would post a video here, but since it is fairly graphic and violent and I know there are some who would rather not see it, I shall let you link there.

Actor: Courtney Gains
Monk episode: "Mr. Monk is on the Run, Part 1"
Previous work: Rob Zombie's "Halloween" (scenes deleted) and "Navy NCIS" and a slew of bit television credits

Doctor-cop Extraordinaire

He generally plays some kind of medical professional (law enforcement-related or otherwise).

He has been on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" three times, and has played a different detective each time.

Actor: C.S. Lee
Monk episode: "Mr. Monk is on the Run, Part 1"
Previous work: "Dexter" and "The Sopranos"
